Out There

Appearing like a ‘stealth fighter’, two dominant volumes resolve the site specificity complexities.

The living hub cantilevered out across the contour lines, with its cranked deck, facilitates all the living spaces to northern orientation and passive solar gain.  The second volume with its low-rising multiple roofs contains the sleeping zones which is organised perpendicular to the hub and aligning with the natural contour lines resolves the critical zoning requirements.  The entirely transparent wings expose the awe-inspiring coastal view.

The innovative design, with its sophisticated structural resolution, inventive planning and contemporary architectural expression is definitely an “out there” experience.
